Bloglines showed it as a new post. I was actually pretty confused when I went to your blog just using the regular address and then didn't see this one there. I thought, "OK, Red sometimes pulls back posts she thinks are incriminating in some way, but a cooking post? What's offensive or embarrassing about that?" Now I understand. :-)

Stef, you're hilarious! How did you find this post? I was going to link to it off my main page but I haven't even done it yet. Right now it's saved as a random December '06 entry.

Well, yeah, a lot of the stuff in Cooking Light looks hard, but some of it is kinda basic, like this stuff. And, I know, I'm not sure what's up with my potato and cheese issues.

You call yourself a beginning cook, and yet you are working with Cooking Light?? From what Darren says about that publication, it does not sound like it's beginner-friendly.

Also, I am with you on the chicken in lieu of red meat thing (also for no particular reason), but I will never, ever, EVER understand your aversion to potatoes and cheese. Seriously... mashed potatoes? Best food ever! I really thought this was an indisputable and universal truth.
